3D/4D Ultrasound

We offer the unique opportunity to see your unborn child with the most up to date technology for 3D/4D ultrasound. Our ultrasound machines are the most advanced available. The technology is so precise, it can capture your baby’s movements in real time (4D) and provide quality 3D images. Our ultrasonographers are registered sonographers with extensive experience in 3D/4D ultrasound technologies (RMDS).

Are there any risks to me or my baby?

Extensive studies over 30 years have found that there is no risk to mother or baby with ultrasound technology. Routine ultrasounds of all pregnancies are now normal throughout the United States. The ultrasound waves in 3D/4D are the exact same type and intensity of ultrasound as used with conventional ultrasound scanning.

How long does the 3D/4D ultrasound take?

The session will last 15 to 30 minutes depending on the baby’s position and the package request.

At what stage of pregnancy should I have my 3D/4D ultrasound?

We recommend visiting between 26 and 32 weeks gestation so that we can obtain the best facial images. Women with twins should visit around 27 weeks.

Can I bring family and friends?

Yes! This is a wonderful experience that you can share with your family and loved ones. We ask you to limit your guests to two as space is limited in our ultrasound room.

Is the 3D/4D ultrasound covered by insurance?

Since this is an elective procedure and is not intended to be used for diagnostic and/or treatment purposes, insurance does not cover the cost of these ultrasounds. You will need to pay for the cost of the ultrasound at the time it is performed. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, debit, and check.
