You Guys Seriously Rock!!

I just want to give a shout out to your offices!! You guys seriously rock!! I literally have been struggling with my endo and IC and the offices have been nothing but accommodating towards me. I literally would be lost right now without the help of your team!! I mean when you feel terrible it helps to know your doctor and his staff are caring and considerate and actually LISTEN!

I want to particularly thank Dr. Zaidan for being such a fantastic doctor for the 18 years I’ve seen him!! He’s always got my back—which is hard to find! I want to thank Shannon for always calling in my refills and being super understanding.

My name is Ashley, I’m 26. Dr. Zaidan performed a laparoscopy on me last year to diagnose me with endometriosis. We also discovered I had PCOS. She has had good relief from this procedure

Cheryl had the Cryoablation procedure performed in our office to treat her irregular and bothersome bleeding. Endometriosis had ruined my sex life. I knew that I had endometriosis from my previous doctor and was taking birth control as she prescribed. My pain was getting worse and I got no other options. My husband and I were getting frustrated and it was becoming a main argument in my marraige. I went to Women’s Excellence in Endometriosis and the doctor recommended a robotic procedure to help me. I was scared to have a robot operate on me but I trusted Dr. Zaidan so I had the surgery. He told me I had endometriosis in the culdesac and that he resected it. I hurt for 2 days after the procedure and I doubted it would work. I then started some medication and after 4 months I am able to have sex with no pain. I had cervical pre-cancer and my doctor told me I needed to go to an oncologist to have it removed. He recommended a surgery with a large incision even though it wasn’t cancer. I am pain free now and feel better

I have had pelvic pain for the past 8 years. When I had my hysterectomy, 8 years ago, my right ovary was left in place. I had four surgeries to remove it but the adhesions and scar tissue was too severe. Finally, Dr. Zaidan and Dr. Pugmire did robotic surgery on me and removed the ovary and the scar tissue. They also put something in to prevent future adhesions. It worked! I am pain free now and feel better than I did even before my hysterectomy. Dr. Zaidan is now working with me with my hormones and I haven’t had a hot flash in 3 months

Had a much better recovery

I had full uterovaginal prolpase and was offered a pessary. It was uncomfortable and kept coming out but my doctor said it was the only option. My daughter told me to see Dr. Zaidan for a second opinion. He gave me options of an open procedure and a robotic procedure. I chose robotic and had the surgery on Friday at 4:30 pm and went home Saturday before noon. I really had no pain, other than some constipation pain. As far as the surgery goes, I had a hysterectomy with prolapse repair and had a much better recovery than my neighbor who had a simple hysterectomy by her doctor. What else can be said!

I was completely pain free

I had 3 previous laparoscopies for my endometriosis and was on Lupron for 4 months until I stopped because it wasn’t helping, and I was frustrated. Dr. Zaidan recommended robotic surgery to resect disease. I was skeptical but he said he could help me so I went through with robotic surgery. It was the toughest recovery I had, much tougher than the 3 previous laparosocpies, but after 10 days I was completely pain free. I couldn’t believe it! I am now on birth control and my symptoms are gone. Dr. Zaidan is preserving my fertility as I was thinking I would end up with hysterectomy before I had kids and he thinks I will be able to conceive sometime now that the endo is gone.

I cannot say enough about my experience

I was scheduled to have a hysterectomy for my endometriosis. We knew I had severe endometriosis and I expected the recovery to be difficult. Dr. Zaidan recommended robotic surgey and at first I said no as I felt it would be un-natural to have a robot operate on me. Dr Zaidan reassured me that the robot was “just another tool” and that he would do the surgery. He did my other surgery and I trusted him so I let him do my hysterectomy robotically. It took two hours and he said it was very complicated with adhesions and that the endometriosis was extensive. The next day after surgery I left the hospital and the following Sunday, I went to dinner and a movie with my husband. I cannot say enough about my experience, I know that everyone is different, but my hysterectomy was easier than the laparoscopy I had a year before.

My fibroids were all removed

I had 4 large fibroids and my doctor told me I needed a hysterectomy. My co-worker recommended Dr. Zaidan for the fibroids and I saw him to discuss a treatment other than hysterectomy. He recommended robotic surgery and I had the case done 2 weeks later. My fibroids were all removed and I preserved my uterus since I want to have another child soon.

It is well worth it, for the quality of care

I have been “dealing” with endometriosis for years. I am 25 years old and have already had 4 surgeries to try and control and slow down its progression. The last one was this November and it was my first surgery with Dr. Zaidan. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the disease, his bedside manner, and finally felt someone was ACTUALLY listening to what my questions and concerns were. I am so thankful to have had an expert

I was diagnosed with endometriosis during an infertility workup years ago. I had two attempts at pregnancy and was unable to conceive. I was referred to Dr. Zaidan by my primary care doctor after my periods were so bad I wanted to have a hysterectomy. He evaluated me after listening to my symptoms and now my periods are normal. I feel so much better

When I met Dr. Zaidan I was already reliant on pain medication or as he said (addicted). I had been treated by another doctor and had a laparoscopy and was put on Vicodin. I had gotten no other treatment! Dr. Zaidan did another laparoscopy and started me on medication. My symptoms improved and I can tolerate my periods. But most of all, I am off pain medication. My periods were so painful I was missing work every month and almost got fired. My doctor said there was nothing wrong on my ultrasound and gave me pain medication. I sought the care of Dr. Zaidan after I had been diagnosed with endometriosis for 2 years. I had a laparoscopy and they told me there was nothing they could do. I didn’t leak at all

I was referred to Women’s Excellence in Bladder Control in mid-February for urinary leakage when I coughed, sneezed and jumped and wanted my bladder fixed before golf season. Dr. Zaidan saw me and ordered some testing and fit me into surgery the first week of March. My friends asked me to play golf the last weekend of April and I went! I didn’t leak at all and I wasn’t wearing any feminine protection. It was cold though and we only played 16 holes. I was shocked at how seamless my workup and surgery went and all my friends can’t believe it worked. Two of them are now seeing Dr. Zaidan to help them with similar issues.

The medication worked

I had to go to the bathroom all the time and kept getting treated for bladder infections. I saw Dr. Zaidan and he examined me and put me on some medication to help my symptoms. The medication worked and I can work for 3-4 hours at a time without using the bathroom. My own doctor said he should have thought about that.

I think this was the best thing I have done

I was putting off surgery for my bladder because everyone I knew that had surgery done for their bladder said it didn’t work. Finally, a friend of mine had her bladder suspension by Dr. Zaidan and it worked. She said it was easy, friendly and that I would like him. I saw him in July and he did my surgery the month later in August. The office made all my testing appointments after my first visit and everything was done in their bladder control center which made it easy. I haven’t leaked since I had the surgery and I think this was the best thing I have done for myself. I just wish I would have done it before the summer as I could have done all the summer things I like to do without leaking.

I was listened to

I was pleased to find a center that allowed me to provide myself with menopausal management that is specifically addressed my bones. My mother had osteoporosis and ultimately had problems with a hip fracture and their attention to detail in providing me with treatment for my bones and allowing me to avoid using hormone therapy makes me feel like I was listened to.

I was glad to have the option

I was afraid to go into menopause as I had heard so many bad things about this time period in my life.
