Women’s Excellence expands Midwifery services to West Bloomfield, Michigan due to the increase in patients desiring a natural approach to their pregnancy and childbirth.
Midwifery care is a core component of Women’s Excellence service offerings. It appeals to women who desire one-on-one prenatal care and a natural birthing experiencing. The Midwife program at Women’s Excellence supports natural childbirth in a hospital setting.

The Midwives at Women’s Excellence are fully supported by a team of physicians. Both teams work collectively to oversee the needs and wishes of the patient. Most childbirths at Women’s Excellence are managed by a Midwife team member, but if a patient requires significant medical attention, a Women’s Excellence physician is readily available. The collaboration between midwives and physicians gives patients the comprehensive care they deserve.
The Women’s Excellence Midwifery team has grown tremendously over the past several years. Women’s Excellence is proud to offer a team of 10 specially-trained advanced practice Midwives. This year, Women’s Excellence plans to add 2 new Midwives to the team.
