Women’s Excellence Offers Minimally Invasive Treatment Options for Urinary Leakage in Women

Women’s Excellence treats Overactive Bladder (OAB) and urinary incontinence with advanced techniques and minimally invasive procedures.

Women’s Excellence offers the latest treatment options for women experiencing urinary leakage.  Urinary leakage can occur from Overactive Bladder (OAB) and stress incontinence.  In most cases, women receive treatment within 1-2 weeks after an initial consultation and in-office testing.

“Urinary problems are very disruptive to your lifestyle, especially for women.  We make it a priority to schedule consultations quickly and begin immediate testing.  We want to get women back on their feet and doing the things that they love as soon as possible!” Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, MD, FACOG, President of Women’s Excellence.

Overactive bladder (OAB) is a condition that is characterized by sudden, involuntary contractions of the muscle in the wall of the urinary bladder, causing leakage.  Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) is when urinary leakage occurs from sudden stress on the bladder.  This can be caused from coughing, laughing, sneezing, or lifting heavy objects.

Treatment options for bladder control issues and urinary leakage vary.  Women’s Excellence offers medicinal therapy, pelvic floor physical therapy, Botox injections for the bladder, Axonics therapy (sacral neuromodulation), and minimally invasive surgery.  Surgical procedures are outpatient and allow women to get back to their normal lifestyle within a couple of days.

“Bladder control treatment is not one size fits all.  We know that symptoms can vary and appear at different stages of life, which is why we continually evaluate and explore new treatment options for women.  We are thrilled to offer a variety of options that suit the needs and desires of our patients,” Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, MD, FACOG, President of Women’s Excellence.
