What happens next?
The first step is contacting Women’s Excellence. We will begin with an in-depth medical history/physical exam and blood work to assess ovarian function and rule out other medical conditions. Semen analysis to detect male factor infertility is also a must. Finally, testing such as hysterosalpingogram (a radiological procedure) or laparoscopy to rule out a structural problem such as tubal occlusion may be necessary.
If there is a problem, there are a wide variety of treatments available for couples facing difficulty achieving pregnancy. Couples should consult with their gynecologist to develop a treatment plan designed to specifically address their fertility concerns.
