Jessie Tinglan, DNP, CNM, CLS
Jessie Tinglan brings deep experience in maternal care and lactation to her role as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Her background spans roles as an OB tech, labor and delivery nurse, birth center manager, and certified lactation specialist. She holds nursing degrees from Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University, and completed both her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University.
Jessie has a special interest in physiologic birth and patient education, and is dedicated to guiding women through empowered, informed birth experiences. Outside of clinical care, she enjoys outdoor adventures and raising Hereford cattle with her family. You can find Jessie in our Lapeer office.
Jennifer Daly, CNM
Jennifer Daly is a Certified Nurse Midwife who blends strong academic training with a passion for holistic, respectful obstetric care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo and her Master of Science in Midwifery from the University of Michigan, where she is also completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Jennifer is especially interested in physiologic birth, shared decision-making, reproductive health, and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). With a background in psychiatric and surgical nursing, she brings a calm, well-rounded perspective to her midwifery care. Outside of work, she enjoys being active outdoors with her Pomeranian Moose, crafting, and traveling. You can find Jen in our Royal Oak Office.
Katelyn Kuenzel, CNM
Katelyn Kuenzel is a Certified Nurse Midwife who focuses on health promotion, family planning, and natural childbirth. She received her nursing degree from Grand Valley State University and her midwifery training from Wayne State University, where she is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
With a foundation in labor and delivery nursing, Katelyn is passionate about providing personalized care that honors each woman’s preferences and values. She also studied birth practices abroad in Ghana, expanding her understanding of cultural approaches to childbirth. Outside the office, Katelyn enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with loved ones. You can find Katelyn in our Clarkston Midwifery office.
Devon Welling, CNM
Devon Welling is a Certified Nurse Midwife who provides care for women at all stages of life, with a focus on pregnancy, adolescent health, and family planning. She earned her BSN from Grand Valley State University and her MSN from Georgetown University.
Devon is passionate about natural childbirth and helping women achieve their health and life goals. Known for her supportive, goal-oriented style, she empowers patients to make confident, informed decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys Detroit sports, time with her son, and her rescue pup, Iggy. You can find Devon at our Lake Orion Midwifery office.
Anthony Swisher, CNM, DNP
Anthony Swisher is a Certified Nurse Midwife with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Wayne State University. With a background in labor and delivery nursing, Anthony is committed to advancing midwifery through evidence-based care and continued learning.
Anthony is known for creating a safe, welcoming environment for all patients and is particularly passionate about inclusive, affirming care. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his husband, Garrett, and looks forward to growing their family.
Danielle Andrews, MSN, RN, CNM
Danielle Andrews is a Certified Nurse Midwife with a background in hospital-based nursing and labor and delivery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing to become a midwife.
Danielle is passionate about empowering women through education and evidence-based care. She brings a warm, approachable style to her practice and is honored to support women during some of life’s most meaningful moments.
Amanda Berberich, MSN, RN, CNM, C-EFM, RNC-OB
Amanda Berberich is a Certified Nurse Midwife with over a decade of experience in women’s healthcare. She specializes in low-risk pregnancy, adolescent health, LGBTQ+ care, and perinatal mood disorders. Amanda holds multiple advanced certifications and brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to every patient encounter.
She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them feel informed, confident, and cared for at every stage of life. Amanda sees patients at our Lake Orion Midwifery, Clarkston and Lapeer locations.
Meghan Helinski, MSN, RN, CNM, C-EFM, RNC-OB
Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife with a strong background in both primary and palliative care. She provides compassionate, personalized care for women at every stage of life.
Meghan earned her nursing degrees from Calvin College and Madonna University, with advanced midwifery training from the University of Michigan. Her care approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a passion for empowering women through informed, supportive guidance.
Jillian Hoyt, MSN, CNM, APRN
Jillian Hoyt is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Women’s Excellence, seeing patients in Clarkston and Lake Orion. She began her healthcare career as a CNA and RN before stepping into her first CNM role with our team.
Jillian earned her BSN from the University of Michigan and her MSN in midwifery from Vanderbilt University. While in college, she also worked as a doula, sparking her passion for midwifery and women’s health.
Inspired by A Baby Story from a young age, Jillian is committed to providing compassionate, holistic care and building strong relationships with each patient. She was drawn to Women’s Excellence for its culture of genuine, patient-centered care. You can find Jillian at our Clarkston and Lake Orion Midwiferies.
Mary Christ, CNM
Mary Christ, CNM, is a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife serving patients at our Royal Oak location. She began her career in healthcare in 2007 as a Registered Nurse and joined Women’s Excellence in 2024 to continue her passion for providing full-scope midwifery care in a private practice setting.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna University and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University, specializing in Nurse-Midwifery. Her clinical interests focus on empowering women through personalized, compassionate care — especially during pregnancy and birth.
